Away at Sea, but close to Heart | Session with Erin at the Blossoming Armour House & Gardens in Henrico VA
“162 days and counting…”
Erin replied to me as she updated me on June 26th concerning Michael’s deployment to sea.
While most excited couples opt for a portrait session together following their engagement, Erin’s story is beautiful and uniquely different. For, shortly after becoming engaged her fiancé Michael was bravely called to service…
“he is so eager to put his feet on solid ground… as they have now broken the record for longest time out at sea with no port call.”
Wanting to boost his morale, I loved her idea of wanting to surprise Michael with this portrait session…how even though he may be away at sea, he resides close to her heart & home. My prayers and thoughts are with Michael, his entire naval ship, and all the brave men and women deployed in selfless and active service in keeping America free!
I am looking forward to capturing their upcoming milestones, and for their wedding in 2021!
