Not many brides can say their grand entrance on their wedding day was via a tractor pull by a steam tractor...an 1884 Gaar Scott steam traction engine at that!!
But for a bride whose membership with the Somerset Steam and Gas Association had been a huge part of her life ever since she could remember, it was only natural for her to envision incorporating this one-of-a-kind element in her big day!

Erin first met Michael during a 2014 Tiger Cruise where a brutal wave of motion sickness left her near the bridge of the ship…in the moments regaining her composure and taking in fresh air she recalled meeting,
“a good looking midshipman sitting nearby...”
It didn’t’ take long for the two to strike up a conversation…and the rest was history!

I am so honored to have captured every segment of Erin and Michael’s wedding day. From the first look Erin shared with her brothers and dad, to the anticipation and excitement of becoming Mr. and Mrs… their day was a perfect mixture of heartfelt and humorous, deeply meaningful and joyful.
And no other venue could have provided a better atmosphere other than Bandit’s Ridge. Not only do the boundless acres resonate with a romantic southern charm; the hospitality of Donna and her event team are enough to make one feel like family.
Artistically capturing all the beautiful hues of the venue vibrantly, the amazing Brittany Branson a professional artist, live painted and presented Erin and Michael their finished masterpiece at the end of the reception...
A reception celebration made possible by the entertaining Matthew and Karese of Bow Tied Weddings: and whose dance moves were enough to get anyone out of their seats! : )
In addition, I was honored again working alongside my friends Todd and Kelley of ASKEM Studios, who captured the day fluidly and seamlessly!
